I have known Gordon for many a long year as a principled fighter for workers’ rights and of course, more recently as a powerful voice for pensioners within our Retired Members’ movement and the NPC.
What has always impressed me is his desire to work collectively and collaboratively across our Regions to ensure we achieve unity of purpose and outcome for our members. I know he will never shrink from standing up for what is right, even when the going gets tough.
With Gordon on our Executive Council, Retired Members can be assured of a powerful voice and an experienced and strategic advocate in their corner. I have no hesitation in endorsing Gordon for this critically important position.
