Things can feel a bit bleak right now. Lockdown, dark winter days and the worst recession in 200 years has impacted us all but we at United Left know there are brighter days ahead.

Just a couple of weeks ago Rolls Royce workers at Barnoldswick got a massive victory – securing their secure and green future for generations to come. This isn’t just a one off, we can win a secure green future for all workers but we need you.

Join us at 18:30 on Thursday 18 February and let’s plan together how we can save thousands of jobs and the planet too.
After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.

Speakers include:

·      Steve Turner – Unite AGS and UL candidate for General Secretary        (when the election is called)
·      Mark Porter – Senior Steward at Rolls Royce Barnoldswick
·      Sakina Sheikh – Climate Activist
·      Terry Renshaw – from the Shrewsbury 24
·      And Jack Youd – Unite Young Member

We can’t wait to hear from our speakers, and especially from Terry Renshaw, as the Shrewsbury 24 look like finally winning justice after battling decades of employer-generated and state sanctioned anti-trade unionism.

Together we can plan a future where Unite members are creating the solutions to save livelihoods and the planet for generations to come.
