Unions, campaigns & grassroots uniting en-masse against the Tories

Join the People’s Assembly – Saturday 5 November!

From the People’s Assembly

With screeching U turns, an ever changing line up of Chancellors (the latest, Kwarteng, lasted only 38 days) and another Tory Prime Minister in a increasingly vulnerable position, its clear that the Tories are in crisis and disarray. We must use this crisis to come together in maximum unity and solidarity, and build our resistance, our movement, our industrial actions and our fight back against the Tories.

We know the Tories are ruthless and vicious and are already looking at using the crisis to impose austerity no2, so we cannot allow them to regroup. Given the already dire state of our public services, the cost of living crisis, rising inflation, huge inequality, attacks to our jobs, wages, union and democratic rights and much more, continued Tory rule would be catastrophic.

So we’re urging all of you to get to the National Demonstration on Saturday 5th November in central London. We already have an array of national unions, campaigns and grassroots organisations backing us. Speakers include Mick Lynch (RMT), Jeremy Corbyn (MP), Laura Pidcock (PA National Secretary) and many more to be announced.

We are organising coaches from various locations in the U.K. See our website for details. If you are organising transport to the demonstration and it’s not listed on our website, please email us:office@thepeoplesassembly.org.uk
