Remembering Srebrenica London and Southeast Regional Board invites you to commemorate the Bosnian genocide through a series of events taking place during memorial week this July.
Every year, Remembering Srebrenica selects a theme that reflects an aspect of the genocide that needs to be commemorated, but also speaks to communities here in the UK. The theme for 2023 is ‘Together We Are One’. With the 11th of July being internationally recognised as Srebrenica Memorial Day, our memorial week will run from the 4th to 11th of July 2023. Here you will find all the resources you need to organise a memorial event such as a film screening, working with your local authority, school, or library, or hosting a coffee morning. Please do let us know if we can help you to commemorate the genocide in your local area or institution.
