The main purpose of our national industrial sector conferences which take place every two years is to set industrial policy for each of Unite’s 20 sectors.

This year’s conferences will be in Brighton, from Monday 18 November-Wednesday 20 November.

One delegate is elected for every 1000 paying members in each sector, and they must be “accountable representatives of workers”. See the Unite Rule Book for a definition (under Rule 6 )of accountable representatives of workers.
