On Thursday 17th November, the Unite hospitality combine has co-ordinated dozens of actions across the UK in support of the IUF day of Solidarity with Starbucks workers.
This is both to show our support for our US brothers and sisters engaged in a huge struggle for union organisation, but also as the starting point for a UK nationwide recruitment campaign to gain members across the coffee sector. (Baristas United).
To this end, we have teams engaged in leafletting actions at Starbucks, Costa-Coffee and Cafe Nero sites on the day.
