United Left is recommending a vote for the Members United slate in the Unite EC elections. The slate is an electoral coalition of groups on the left plus some independent candidates. They are all standing with the aim to reclaim our union.

With the cost of living skyrocketing, our jobs being outsourced, and many of us facing redundancy or even workplace closures, Unite members urgently need a strong, united union that has our back — and wins for us.
We will make sure the Executive Council comes together to solve problems and put members first. The union belongs to us, the members, and we need it to be a united and effective force for change.
Members United will grow our membership, build a fierce industrial presence, and ensure a strong Unite voice that always stands up for workers.
We will ensure that Unite maintains our immensely proud history of international solidarity, supports the Palestinian’s existential struggle for a Palestinian state and likewise the Ukrainians’ battle against Greater Russian expansionism.
Winning at work—An industrial strategy that puts winning at work and sustainable organisation at the heart of our union, with elected reps deciding what’s best for their Workplaces with no member left behind.
An Industrial Approach—Clear industrial priorities should be set by the membership in every sector, working with our industrial officers both regionally and nationally.
A Member-Led Union—A democratic, united, and accountable Executive Council that upholds the rules and earns trust. The EC is the elected voice of members at the top of the union — it must be treated as such.
Strong Finances—Our union’s finances must be sustainable so we can deliver tomorrow as well as today. Members need to know how their money is spent, and subs must be proportionate and affordable.
