The Pentonville Five were shop stewards on the docks jailed for picketing in 1972
They were released through mass workers’ action by the trade unions.
Bernie’s funeral is on 18 August 2022.
It will depart from 1 Pekin Street, Poplar E14 at 1.15pm
Flowers can be sent there if people wish. If you want to see him to say goodbye, please come from 12 noon.
The service is at 2pm at St Patricks cemetery, Leytonstone E 11 4HL (free parking in the cemetery)
There will be a wake at the Docklands Sailing and Watersports Centre (235A Westferry Road, London E14 3QS ( free parking is available) 4-8 pm.
