Save London buses!

Save London buses campaign
Spread the love

The Transport for London consultation on cutting 16 major bus routes and rerouting 86 others has come to an end, but the fight has only just begun.

The Save Our buses Organising Group invited the public to join them on a march on Saturday 13 August to demonstrate that London will not be a political football between a Labour mayor and a Tory government. Cutting London’s buses will impact on the poorest people. It will impact on our senior citizens who have paid all their lives into a system that doesn’t care. It will impact on the disabled who rely on London’s buses as many tube stations are not accessible.

Save our buses campaign – routes to be axed 4, 11, 12, 14, 16, 24, 31, 45, 72, 74, 78, 242, 349, 521, C3, D7.

Come to the next demonstration

The ‘Save Our Buses’ organising group is holding a mass demo to protest about the cuts to London buses being proposed by TfL. The cutting of night buses will make London a more dangerous place for women. Come join us on 6th September at Parliament Square from 1130am. We will have some speeches and then a march to the Department of Transport. Please come and support London’s buses and bus workers.
